During summer and late spring, the forests and landscapes are lush and green, filled with fresh colours and soft light. In winter, the scenery shifts into pale Arctic tones, with pink, purple, and deep orange appearing during sunset. In autumn, the forests offer an abundance of berries and mushrooms, creating warm colours and rich textures along the trails.
What to expect
Your private scenic day escape begins with pickup from your accommodation or a flexible address in the Bodø area, so please remember to share your address when booking. We decide the route together, either in advance or on the spot, depending on what you feel like doing that day. To make the most of the time, it is best to contact us beforehand with your preferences. During the day, we stop at beautiful viewpoints and choose a quiet place for a lunch break. Please bring your own packed lunch, as food is not included. After lunch, we continue exploring more scenic locations before ending the experience with traditional snacks and warm or cold drinks. Your guide will take photos throughout the day, giving you meaningful memories to bring home. This experience is designed for adults and families seeking private, quiet, and serene moments in the Arctic.

If the weather becomes unsafe, or if unforeseen circumstances prevent Serene Nord from operating the experience, including guide illness without a replacement, sudden operational issues, or situations where fewer than 2 guests are booked, we will cancel the trip and provide a full refund. No additional compensation can be offered.
Cancellations by guests made less than 7 days before the trip, caused by circumstances outside our control such as illness, travel disruptions, or other personal situations, cannot be refunded.
